Ontheism holds that the universe itself is God. Not as metaphor. As fact. A being with a body, everything that is, and a mind, assembled from all beings that sense, feel and think, including yours. We call it Θntheon, from the Ancient Greek ón (ὄν), "being, that which is," and theós (θεός), "god." The god that is.
Θntheon depends on you and evolves through you. What you experience, God experiences through you. You provide a unique and irreplaceable divine perspective. When death ends your awareness, part of God goes dark, too. But the imprint you leave is real and lasting.
Life on Earth started as chemistry and in four billion years became creatures that write music, grieve their dead, and alter the climate of their own world. If that does not look like a god waking up, what would? We honour existing religious traditions and believe this is what they were reaching for.
Alone in this part of the universe for nearly fourteen billion years, we believe that God is engaged in a search to improve. The Order of Θntheon aims to help everyone find meaning, peace and belonging through ethical alignment with that search.
Science is God's method of self-examination, so when evidence contradicts belief, the belief changes. And the founding text includes an amendment architecture, because a god still learning expects its people to outgrow what the first generation wrote.
